We are proud of our involvement in the Peer Nutrition program. It has been rewarding to help families access nutrition information, learn cooking skills and receive practical support that is fundamental to raising healthy children.


Community partners play a vital role in the success of the Peer Nutrition Program. Community partner contributions vary and may include:

  • Free space for the Peer Nutrition¬†Healthy Eating Workshops, Support Sites and Community Gardens
  • Child minding workers
  • Promotion of the program
  • Participant registrations

We currently deliver the services of the Peer Nutrition Program with the help of over 120 community partners.  Some of our community partners include:

If your community members would benefit from receiving the Peer Nutrition Program, your agency/organization may consider becoming a community partner. Please call Toronto Public Health to receive a Promotional Package and/or a Promotional Workshop (an introductory presentation of the program).
