This three-storey rental apartment building has 56 studio apartments, common rooms, a dining room, program space and administrative offices and is designed to support people who are exiting homelessness by providing affordable homes with support services. The building was created using innovative modular construction. 11 Macey Ave. opened on December 19, 2020, approximately eight months after being approved by City Council.

My role at 11 Macey Ave. will be to assist residents in achieving stable tenancy. I will be committed to maintaining property management standards, which include providing a clean, safe and well-maintained supportive home for residents.  I am dedicated to creating a vibrant community and to helping improve the lives of our residents.

With a 100-year+ history serving Toronto neighbourhoods, The Neighbourhood Group specializes in owning and operating high-quality affordable and supportive rental housing. We look forward to engaging with our neighbours and working with our partner, Cota.

Through these services we hope to develop a thriving tenant community where each individual feels a sense of belonging and is supported to achieve housing stability and their fullest potential. Having an affordable place to call home and some supports to rely on is what we all need in life to be successful. And Cota is pleased to play a vital role in offering these things to the tenants at 11 Macy Ave.

Cota is an accredited, not-for-profit, community-based organization that has been supporting adults to live well within their communities for over 45 years.
