The City of Toronto is seeking a dynamic not-for-profit community organization to operate the Zion Church Cultural Centre, located at 1650 Finch Avenue East, per the terms of the Community Space Tenancy Policy.
To be eligible for this Community Space Tenancy lease, an organization must:
Applicant organizations must attend an information session presented by the Economic Development and Culture Division. At the information session, City staff will provide additional background information about the space; the application process; service priorities and community needs; and the evaluation and selection process for selecting Community Space tenants.
Dates: Thursday, March 7, 6 – 8 p.m. or Saturday, March 9, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (applicants must attend one of two sessions)

The Zion Church Cultural Centre was built in 1873 by the Methodists of L’Amaroux, the Finch Avenue community between Victoria Park and Warden, on land donated by Henry Scarce.
It was acquired by the Borough of North York in 1971, and designated as an example of a typical rural church.
Zion reopened as a cultural facility in 1998, celebrating the North York’s special heritage and serving to promote arts and culture in the community.
Zion is located on the north side of Finch Avenue East, one block east of Don Mills Road OR two blocks west of the Don Valley Parkway/ Highway 404.
From East and West Zion Church Cultural Centre can be reached on the 199 Finch Rocket or the 39 Finch East. Exit at Don Mills or Seneca College. From North or South Zion the Zion Church can be reached on the 25 Don Mills bus route. Exit at Finch Avenue East.
Zion Church Cultural Centre has 10 free parking spaces in the Skymark Mall parking lot. Passes must be picked up from Zion in order to validate mall parking. Additional free parking may be available, depending on time and date. Paid parking is available in lots P1 and P7 on Seneca College campus, one block away.
