Compost available for pick up

Compost will be available for free pick up by residents of Toronto beginning Saturday, April 4, 2026 and end Saturday, October 3, 2026 (while quantities last)

Pick-up will be available on Saturdays only from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Limit of 1 cubic metre per vehicle. Residents are required to bring their own container and shovel.

Compost is only available at the following four Drop-Off Depots, please visit the City of Toronto website for details:

• Disco: 120 Disco Road, Etobicoke
• Commissioners: 400 Commissioners Street, Toronto 
• Ingram: 50 Ingram Drive, North York 
• Victoria Park: 3350 Victoria Park Avenue, North York  
• Please note: Due to ongoing construction, the Scarborough Transfer Station will not be providing compost this spring. Compost service is suspended until further notice: 1 Transfer Place, Scarborough
