If you have your own sledge, then you should bring it with you.

Sledges are now available in some facilities. These adapted skating devices make arenas accessible for persons with a disability. If you require a sledge, contact the district staff in the Adapted Recreation Programs Integrated Services Unit . When booking a sledge, allow a minimum of 10 business days before your intended date of use.

Only approved assistive devices are allowed on the ice. This includes skate aids, skate horses, sledges, strollers and wheelchairs. Homemade skate aids, chairs, sleds or other devices not formally approved by the City of Toronto cannot be taken onto the ice, as they pose safety issues. If someone needs a skate aid or other approved device, they can call the arena and ask staff or, in the case of outdoor rinks, they can call Adapted and Inclusive Recreation hotline.
