    By-Election Jobs

To meet staffing needs for the trustee, Toronto District School Board (TDSB) Ward 11 by-election, Toronto Elections will be asking election officials who recently worked in Councillor Ward 15, Don Valley West by-election to work with us again, in the same position on March 3, 2025. Details will be sent to Ward 15 staff in January 2025.

Toronto Elections is not accepting new applications, as there are a very limited number of positions available.

    Third Party Advertiser Registration

Between Friday, December 13 and Friday, February 28, 2025, a person, corporation or trade union intending to spend money to promote, support or oppose a candidate in the trustee, TDSB Ward 11 by-election must register as a third party advertiser.

Registrations can be filed from Friday, December 13 until Friday, February 28, 2025. Registrations can only be filed in person at the Toronto Elections City Hall office. The office is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (excluding statutory holidays).

The City Clerk must certify the registration before a third party advertiser can spend money on their campaign, accept contributions or begin advertising. Registered third party advertisers must identify themselves on advertisements and comply with requirements under the Municipal Elections Act, 1996.

More information about how to become a registered third party advertiser including forms and rules is available on the Toronto Elections webpage.
