Applications for the 2026 Concrete Barrier Art program are open until March 11, 2026.
The City is considering a range of options to enhance Toronto streets and trails, including the installation of concrete “jersey” barriers in key areas to help ensure pedestrian, cyclist and TTC passenger safety.
To make streets more vibrant, we’re showcasing the work of diverse Toronto Artists and animating the paths. We’re seeking submissions from street, mural, and graffiti artists to join a roster and create designs to be hand-painted on individual concrete barriers.
