A program for murals of monumental size on tall buildings.
Toronto is home to some of the best mural, street and graffiti artists in the world. Their works have transformed the city’s streets, laneways and parks into outdoor art galleries that are enjoyed by thousands daily and appreciated internationally from afar.
StART Monumental provides opportunities for well-established artists and artist collectives to create art that makes Toronto streets welcoming and beautiful. StART also creates mentorship opportunities for emerging and mid-career mural artists by providing the training necessary to produce large-scale murals at heights.
