2008 Live Green Toronto Scavenger Hunt

October was warm and colourful – what better time to get walking, explore Toronto’s neighbourhoods and win prizes!  Thank you to everyone who took part in the 2008 Live Green Toronto Scavenger Hunt.

Many of you took the time to let us know how much you enjoyed your scavenger hunt walks. Here are just some of the highlights:

• Thank you for introducing Dempsey Park to us. I didn’t know there was such a nice park with a great climbing wall for children so close by!
• Excellent exercise, both mental and physical.
• Although I lost my phone case during the walk I discovered things that I had never seen in that route before. It was a brilliant idea! A lot of fun.
• It was a lot of fun to explore the neighbourhood.
• Great way to get to discover some of the little tidbits and gems the city has to offer.

• This was awesome! The best was going into buildings I never even knew existed! I saw history today!

• We had to back track at times because we were not familiar with some streets and places. It was fun getting to know the neighbourhood!

• It was a fun and interesting way to explore the city. I learned some new things about the area. I would try this walk again and it would be better if there were more questions.

• It was nice to see the city from different angles. Also, I enjoyed reading about the history behind the Concourse Building, a building whose architecture I admired and wanted to know more about.
