For 2013, City Council approved a 0% increase in 2013 for Solid Waste Volume-Based Rates. For those with small Garbage Bins, Council eliminated the $2.84 credit. City Council also voted to suspend the collection of solid waste user fees for 2013 from Non-Residential customers including charities and not-for-profit organizations.

Single Family Residential – Curbside
Note:  As a property owner, your home may have more than one tenant/apartment however, the rebate is based on the property tax codes classifying your property as single family residence.

The rebate is $224/year, regardless of how many Garbage Bins you order. The rebate is applied once and the annual fee associated with any additional Garbage Bins is charged at full cost.

*Bi-Weekly Rate is $143.40/year: ($224.00- $80.60 = $143.40) Based on a Small Garbage Bin fee ($224.00) minus the cost of purchasing one bag per collection week (26 weeks X $3.10 = $80.60)

**Weekly Rate is $110.73/year: ($271.93- $161.20 = $110.73) Based on a weekly Small Garbage Bin fee ($271.93) minus the cost of purchasing one bag per collection week (52 weeks X $3.10 = $161.20)

Multi Residential/Multiple Rebates

Note: The base volume allotment is 1.917 cubic yards of un-compacted waste per unit/year or 0.9585 cubic yards of compacted waste per unit/year.

The Solid Waste Rate includes the collection of garbage, recycling, yard waste, organics (where available), bulky items, electronics, white goods/metal items and household hazardous waste.
