Community consultation and the development of the HCD Plan for the Baby Point Heritage Conservation District are ongoing. Consultation with residents will include two webinars and a community consultation meeting. Throughout the development of the HCD Plan, City staff have been working closely with Treaty and Territorial Partners and are engaging with urban Indigenous community members who visit, live, or work in the neighbourhood. This engagement seeks to identify opportunities to reflect the priorities of Indigenous communities in the Plan’s policies.
There will be additional opportunities to connect with the project team as the Plan continues to be advanced.
