This page describes City of Toronto construction projects happening between Yonge Street to the Don Valley Parkway and Davenport Road to the Lake.
Gloucester Street to Park Road
The City of Toronto will resurface Church Street from Gloucester Street to Park Road. Our inspection of the road shows that it needs repaving and sections of damaged curb and sidewalk need to be replaced to bring them to a state of good repair. Crews will also remove old streetcar tracks under the road surface, south of Bloor Street East.
Jarvis Street to Cherry Street

Queen’s Quay to the Esplanade
The City of Toronto will replace the watermain and the City-owned portion of substandard water services on Lower Jarvis Street from the Queen’s Quay to the Esplanade and the sanitary sewer from south of Lakeshore Boulevard East to north of the Metrolinx Bridge.

Roehampton Avenue to Dawlish Avenue
The City of Toronto is planning to resurface Mount Pleasant Road from Roehampton Avenue to
Dawlish Avenue. Our inspection of the road shows that it needs repaving and sections of damaged
curb and sidewalk need to be replaced to bring them to a state of good repair.
Yonge Street to Church Street
The City of Toronto and Toronto Transit Commission are renewing aging streetcar tracks on Wellington Street from Yonge Street to Church Street. Track renewal will also be undertaken on Church Street south of King Street E to Wellington Street. In addition to the TTC track work this project will include streetscape improvements at the intersection of Wellington Street and Church Street.
