Last night, the City of Toronto and TCEU Local 416 – Paramedics reached a tentative agreement and avoided the need for interest arbitration.

The five-year agreement, which affects approximately 1,300 full-time and part-time frontline paramedics, is fair to both Toronto residents and Local 416 workers.

Details of the tentative agreement remain confidential until the union membership and Toronto City Council have had the opportunity to review the agreement and vote on ratification.
