Starting January 1, 2026, a new provider will collect recycling for multi-residential buildings receiving City waste collection services prior to January 1, 2026. Buildings applying for City collection on or after this date must submit proof that a private company has been retained to provide recycling collection services.
Program Benefits
- The program is flexible to meet the needs of each building – the cost is based on your garbage volume (bin size, number of bins and compaction) and how often you need collection services.

- The City provides a rebate per multi-residential unit per year.
