What happens when you submit a form?
Building Plans
The Building Division and City Clerk's office have developed a policy and procedure (PDF) for the routine disclosure of building plans in accordance with the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA). The policy came into affect December 5, 2005.
You will need to have the latest version of the FREE Acrobat Reader on your computer to read the policy and procedure.

Requests sent in error to other government agencies
The City responds to freedom of information requests on behalf of City divisions only. If your request is for records from another government agency, you should make your request to the other agency directly.
Here is a list of institutions the City of Toronto often receives Freedom of Information (FOI) requests for in error. These institutions have their own FOI offices that process requests made under MFIPPA for records that are in their possession:
