1. TORONTO CYCLING MASTER PLAN STUDY - SMOG ISSUES.

Advising that the Toronto Cycling Committee on November 22, 1999, identified the issue of 'SMOG' as the first in a series of discussion topics relating to the Toronto Cycling Master Plan Study; and that Ms. Franca Ursitti, Research Consultant, Health Promotion and Environmental Protection Unit, Planning and Policy, Toronto Public Health, would be making a presentation to the Committee on January 17, 2000.

(PLEASE NOTE THAT THE COMMITTEE HAS ALLOCATED A MAXIMUM OF 1.25 HOURS FOR DISCUSSION ON THIS TOPIC.)

2. PROPOSED AMALGAMATION OF THE COMMUNICATIONS

SUB-COMMITTEE AND THE PROMOTIONS AND

DEVELOPMENT SUB-COMMITTEE.

Advising that the Sub-Committee at its meeting held on October 17, 1999, recommended to the Toronto Cycling Committee that the Communications Sub-Committee and the Promotions and Development Sub-Committee be merged.

Advising that the Sub-Committee at its meeting held on December 15, 1999, supported the aforementioned recommendation of the Communications Sub-Committee.

3. APPOINTMENT OF REPRESENTATIVE TO THE TORONTO

CYCLING COMMITTEE BY THE TORONTO BICYCLE NETWORK.

Advising that Mr. Ed Clark has been appointed as Mr. Alan Burke's replacement as the representative of the Toronto Bicycling Network on the Toronto Cycling Committee.

4. PORT LANDS CONSULTATION PROCESS.

Communication addressed to Ms. Nicole Swerhun, LURA Consulting

from Mr. Stephen Fisher, Co-Chair, Toronto Cycling Committee

Submitting, on behalf of the Port Lands Working Group, comments with respect to the Port Lands project; and requesting that the Toronto Cycling Committee have direct input in the process as the project moves into the design phase.

(ii) Education and Safety Sub-Committee - November 29, 1999;
