City Council adopted Official Plan Amendment No. 499 , as well as the Urban Design Guidelines, for the Golden Mile area on October 30, 2020. Read the City Council decision on the Golden Mile Secondary Plan, as well as the Notice of Adoption, for further details. The Official Plan Amendment No. 499 has been appealed to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT).

On October 16, 2020, Scarborough Community Council continued the statutory public meeting and considered a Supplementary Report on the Golden Mile Secondary Plan, including the revised Draft Official Plan Amendment No. 499. This report is supplementary to the Final Report dated June 25, 2020

On July 17, 2020, Scarborough Community Council commenced a statutory public meeting on Official Plan Amendment No. 499, including the Golden Mile Secondary Plan. Scarborough Community Council deferred consideration of the Final Report, including the draft Official Plan Amendment No. 499 until its meeting in October 2020.

Final Report dated June 25, 2020

On June 19, 2020, Scarborough Community Council received a Status Report for the Golden Mile Secondary Plan Study, containing proposed amendments to the Official Plan policies for the Golden Mile Area, including the Golden Mile Secondary Plan. These have been made available to the public and will be considered at a virtual Statutory Public Meeting to be held on October 16, 2020.
