We are currently experiencing an issue with the transfer of Killed or Seriously Injured (KSI) data to the Vision Zero Dashboard and Mapping Tool. As a result, recent KSI incidents may not be accurately reflected. The issue is under active investigation, and we are working to resolve it as quickly as possible. In the meantime, KSI data can be accessed directly through the Toronto Police Service website.

No loss of life as a result of traffic collisions is acceptable in a Vision Zero approach. Fatalities amongst pedestrians have seen a small drop in the past few years compared to 2016, when traffic fatalities hit a 10-year record high of 78. Addressing road safety continues to be a priority for residents, elected officials and staff.

Killed or Seriously Injured (KSI) data displayed below has a delay from date of occurrence to being officially verified and reported. For fatalities the usual time period for data to display accurately on the table is 1-2 weeks and for seriously injured 2-3 months. Other factors can also contribute to inaccurate data being displayed, if you believe there is a data error after the time periods above have elapsed please email visionzeroto@toronto.ca
