Ice rinks can be booked between 14 days and two days before the event date. Sports facilities can be booked between 14 days and three days before the event date. Some tennis courts can be booked on the same day and up to seven days before.

All online bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable. Print and/or save your receipt before completing your transaction.
Remember to bring your confirmation with you to the facility on the date of your booking!
Ice time is booked in one-hour increments which includes:
Online ice bookings cannot be used to replace regular seasonal bookings.
Individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Some facilities have dressing rooms. Dressing rooms are available up to 30 minutes before the booked time and must be vacated no later than 30 minutes after the booked time.
Scarborough Arenas require participants to bring their own locks.
No one is allowed on the ice surface during the operation of the ice surfacing machine.
The City highly recommends the use of CSA-approved helmets for all players/skaters while on the ice.
For bookings by private individuals or companies, such as birthday parties and special events, all participants, regardless of age, are required to wear CSA-approved hockey helmets while playing or supervising hockey on the ice.
The City reserves the right to cancel bookings when they are considered to be used for profit or gain orĀ in the place of regular ice bookings.
Groups who wish to host a special event with food, snacks or sponsorship must contact our office at 416-396-7378. This type of permit is not considered an online booking.
Private individuals and groups will require insurance. Fees will automatically include a minimum $2 million liability insurance coverage.
Organizations will need to provide Client Services staff with proof of insurance coverage and additional details before booking.

Tennis and pickleball court(s) are booked in one-hour (minimum) increments and are only available at select facilities.

There are two types of bookings.
Match Play is for individuals or small groups of less than 10 people looking to book a tennis and pickleball court, and are not offering services for profit or gain. Examples of Match Play include:
Organizations is for private businesses and/or organizations offering services for profit or gain.
It is required to provide proof of $2 million liability insurance coverage before booking.

Individuals and/or groups booking a picnic site are limited to reserving up to two sites per event date.
A maximum of 200 participants per site are allowed. Groups of more than 200 participants must contact Client Services at 416-396-7378.
Keep parks clean and prevent damage. Balloons, decorations, signs or banners must not to be tied to trees.
If using a propane BBQ, it must be set at least 10 feet from any combustible structures, objects, vegetation and overhanging branches of trees.
If your booking includes fire pit use, you will be required to review and follow the City of Toronto Open Air Burning policy.
Individuals and/or groups booking a fire pit are limited to reserving a maximum of one fire pit per event date.
A maximum of 25 participants per site are allowed at most sites. Some sites allow a maximum of 50 participants.
If you are an individual booking a fire pit, an insurance fee will apply.
If you are an organization booking a fire pit, you must provide proof of insurance before you book.
Open-air fire hours are 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. only, unless otherwise posted.
The Ontario Fire Code and the City of Toronto Parks Bylaw prohibit all open-air burning. Exceptions must be approved by the Director of Parks and the Chief Fire Official; Subject to the provisions of Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 608, Parks, Section 10, Campfires and barbecues.
Open-air fires must:
The dimensions of the fuel being burnt must not be greater than the size of the container or fire pit. Fuel must be totally confined to the container or pit at all times.
A maximum fuel volume of 0.61 metres by 0.61 metres by 0.61 metres height (two feet by two feet by two feet), that is set and maintained solely for the purpose of cooking food, providing warmth or recreational enjoyment and where an effective extinguishing agent of sufficient size and with the capability of extinguishing the fire must be immediately available.
Prohibited burn materials include:
The open-air burn must be constructed on a non-combustible surface.
The site of the open-air burn must be confined to non-combustible containers or a pit constructed of bare rock, sand or mineral soil.
For Designated Open Air Burn site(s), the site is set at least 6.08 metres (20 feet) from any combustible structures or objects and the space above the burn is at least 6.08 metres (20 feet) from vegetation and the overhanging tree branches.
For Non-Designated Open Air Burn site(s), the site is set at least 3.04 metres (10 feet) from any combustible structures or objects and the space above the burn is at least 3.04 metres (10 feet) from vegetation and the overhanging tree branches.

Everyone will receive a wristband upon entry to the park.
Booked groups are guaranteed the designated picnic area during their booked time only. Groups can use the water park outside of their booked time.
Each picnic area inside Kidstown holds a maximum of 25 people.

Entry to a picnic area will be declined once the maximum attendance is reached.
The booked picnic area must be cleaned up by those who booked the area. This includes the clearing and removal of all garbage. Picnic areas must be left in the same condition as it was before your arrival.
In the event of inclement weather on the day of your event and the City needs to close the park, City of Toronto staff will make every effort to contact you through the information provided on your account. You can contact the Kidstown Water Park at 416-396-8326 to confirm that we are open. Facility conditions can change from the time you call to the time you arrive on site.
Refunds will only be issued if the City of Toronto must close the waterpark due to extreme weather conditions. Our staff will attempt to reschedule your group based on availability.
Parents and caregivers must accompany and fully supervise the children in their care within the water park at all times. Supervision requirements and wristband information are the same for Kidstown Water Park as it is for other City pools. Visit Swimming and Water Play for guidelines and supervision requirements.
Children who are not toilet-trained must wear snug-fitting pants over a cotton diaper or suitable infant disposable swim pants.
Climbing or crawling on the waterslide is strictly prohibited.
Parents and caregivers of the appropriate gender(s) must be available for appropriate supervision in the respective change rooms.
Lockers are available for day use only on a first-come, first-served basis. The City of Toronto does not accept responsibility for damage, loss or theft of personal items.
Groups must complete the group admittance form upon arrival at the facility.
Group leaders must check in with the office before entry to Kidstown Water Park. Group leaders and attendants must be identifiable to City Staff at all times.
