Comprehensive 10-Year Energy Plan at 4711 Yonge

4711 Yonge implemented a 10- year energy plan that took its Energy Star* rating from 55 to 90. The Menkes office portfolio has an average Energy Star Score above 90. Energy Star score is one of the key industry standards for rating a facility’s energy performance with a range of 1-100.

Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) LEED Green Building Certifications at 90 per cent of Menkes’ Office Portfolio

Ninety per cent of the Menkes office portfolio is LEED certified at Gold or Platinum Level. Menkes’ One York Street building achieved the Platinum Level LEED verification with the highest rating for any building in Toronto (89 points).

Fitwel Certifications at One York Street and 25 York Street

One York Street achieved the highest Fitwel* score for an office tenanted building worldwide and 25 York Street achieved the first Fitwel certification in Canada.

Extensive Rooftop Solar PV Systems installed across the Menkes Building Portfolio

Menkes’ portfolio of solar projects produces over 2 million kWh of electricity annually, with five buildings located in the City of Toronto. One York Street has the highest installed solar PV system in Toronto, producing over 84,000 kWh a year of renewable energy.
