The City of Toronto invites you to learn about your City government This website can help you find out how decisions are made at the City, what's behind the numbers and news, who-does-what, and how you can make a difference in Toronto.

In the spring of 2009, over 900 people applied to participate in the Toronto Civics 101 program — a special learning series. From this group, 175 participants from across the city were randomly selected to attend six sessions from September to December.

The proceedings from these sessions provide a rich source of information for anyone interested learning about how Toronto works. This website contains information from each of the six sessions. You can find video highlights and presentations, links to background material, outcomes of learning exercises and photos. Visit our Toronto Civics 101 blog to read more about the series, participants' perspectives while they were attending the sessions, and perhaps share your learning from the materials and website.
