Artist Statement
This is what I see everyday in my neighbourhood. The first image is of my friend on his bike. This is how we get around, free from the constrictions of the road and the boundaries that cars have.
The next image is of an abandoned house at the end of my street. It was built to be a small apartment building by the owner of the land, but was done behind the back of the government. This house will cease to exist in a few months and I may be the only one left with evidence that it was ever there.
The last photo is of the sun thought the trees. This photo was unplanned and unintended, but it still exists in the world without our help. It is an example of the 'unmoulded' beauty in the world. These pictures show the way I see my life in this city.
