Museum & Cultural Centre Camps
City of Toronto museums and cultural centres offer dozens of high-quality and stimulating camps for children 4 to 17 years old. City camps are conveniently located across the city; are safe and staffed by experienced and trained counsellors and offer subjects and experiences for a range of cultures, interests and communities.

Children aged 8 to 13 experiment and create at Cedar Ridge, a historic 1912 mansion nestled within a picturesque garden setting, where daily outdoor play is enjoyed. Our experienced instructors provide a safe environment and offer a wide range of visual arts including drawing, painting, pottery and video. View all current offerings.
Colborne Lodge provides engaging day camps for inquisitive kids who like to make, bake, express and explore. Inspired by the landscape of High Park and the historic home of its founders, our diverse programs get kids learning and having fun through storytelling, artifacts, creative projects, nature exploration and games! Join us for fun-filled days of hands-on activities designed and led by a team of year-round educators. Campers will bake and taste Victorian-inspired recipes in our historic kitchen, make unique crafts and learn new skills throughout the week. Campers get the chance to tend the kitchen garden, and use some of the herbs and produce in their cooking. Children will make new friends and have fun as we explore Willowdale and other Toronto cultural attractions on weekly excursion. View all current offerings.

Junior Chef Camp
March 11 to 15, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Kids are introduced to cooking basics in a fun and safe environment! Participants will learn about food from farm to table and attend the on-site farmers’ market (Wednesday only). Each day will include age appropriate hands-on cooking projects, plus take home samples to share with hungry families. Plenty of active play ensures that everyone works up a healthy appetite! Scarborough Museum has camps for all seasons. Each camp day is packed with special activities that give kids aged 6 to 11 a chance to learn 19th century skills and go on adventures both inside and outside in the park. Every camp includes old style arts and crafts, games, baking, and depending on the season, water play at the splash pad, scavenger hunts, or snow fun. View current offerings.

March Break Pioneer Adventure Camp (Ages 6-11) *Registration opens December 1
Kids are inspired by Spadina’s beautiful historic setting, with acres of gardens, green space and orchards, as well as a mansion restored to the 1920s and 30s. The one of a kind camps for ages 8 to 12 explore art and photography, with themes that include everything from the first movie monsters to Salvador Dali. Campers are immersed in early 20th century art forms and work with various media to create their own exhibits for family and friends to enjoy. Younger campers, ages 5 to 7, enjoy hands-on activities like cooking, garden exploration, art projects and dress up play. View current offerings.

At Todmorden Mills, campers experience nature, history and art in a beautiful park setting within the Lower Don Valley. Hands-on art projects, games and activities take their inspiration from the site’s historic homes, art gallery and Wildflower Preserve, and each camp day includes both indoor and outdoor fun.
