Members' Choice Show

Since 1951 this group has provided a milieu for painting and high-quality art instruction. The Club will present their annual members' choice exhibition. Artworks in a variety of media are sure to please everyone.

The Etobicoke Art Group

49th Annual Juried Show
Opening Reception: Wednesday, May 8, 7:30 pm

The Etobicoke Art Group presents its annual juried art show. Artworks from watercolour to printmaking and sculptures will be displayed. The EAG represents almost 300 members who work in a wide range of styles and media but are united by their love for art.

Etobicoke Seniors’ Art Show
June 11 - 25

Opening Reception: Tuesday, June 11, 7 pm

This show is a great opportunity to experience the enthusiasm and talent of the seniors in our community. Sponsored by Toronto Parks, Forestry & Recreation: Etobicoke York District.

Creative Village Studios
July 5 – September 4

Opening Reception: Wednesday, July 31, 6 – 8 pm

Creative Village Studio is a community based art studio in the heart of Islington Village, operated by Community Living Toronto. Creative Village Studio runs classes in arts and crafts, painting, photography, knitting, expressive arts and music for individuals with intellectual disabilities and the community.

Presented in partnership with Toronto Cultural Services and Adapted & Integrated Services, PF&R.

Beauty In The Eye
September 10 - 29

Performance: Sunday, September 15, 1, 2:30 and 4 pm
Performance: Sunday, September 29, 2 and 4 pm

Award winning Canadian playwright Dave Carley collaborates with twelve Northumberland County artists (NC12) and three actors to ask the question: “How do you engage with art? Through your heart – or using your head?” Beauty in the Eye features two warring “art experts” who take audience members on an insightful and hilarious guided tour. They are unable to agree on anything, until they get a bit of help from a very surprising source…

Presented in partnership with Toronto Cultural Services as part of Culture Days.

The gallery is located in the Etobicoke Civic Centre, on the southeast corner of Burnhamthorpe Road and The West Mall. The gallery begins along the hallway just inside the main entrance.
