The Fort York Museum Store has an extensive range of merchandise to suit everyone. You'll find toys, games, a variety of reproduction compasses and coins, miniature canons, fine hand-made First Nations crafts, beautifully designed sterling silver charms in an assortment of historic themes by Fiore Galleries and more. Don't miss a browse through must-have books for sale in both fiction and non-fiction categories.
When you visit Spadina Museum to see the new restoration make sure you stop by the gift shop - an eclectic collection of home accessories, decorating books, gourmet food, Victorian nighties, jewelry, garden ornaments, table linens and greeting cards. In keeping with the holiday season, Christmas decorations will be available throughout the month of December.
Mackenzie House's gift shop features one-of-a-kind t-shirts, tote bags and newspapers printed on the 1845 printing press, including the popular "Rebel with a Cause" shirt. You'll also see heritage toys and a great selection of books about Toronto's history, William Lyon Mackenzie, printing, Black History and the Rebellion of 1837.
At Montgomery's Inn you will find a unique selection of treasures -- teacups and teapot nightlights, candle holders and lanterns, and traditional wooden toys for the kids, such as Whirly-gigs and Jacob's Ladder. Local history buffs will enjoy browsing the Inn's collection of books about Etobicoke and interested cooks can choose from a good selection of historical cookbooks. Hours of operation are 1 pm to 4:30 pm, Tuesday through Sunday.
The modest gift shop at Colborne Lodge carries a variety of unique and inexpensive items with historical and High Park environmental themes. Shoppers can pick up a number of stocking stuffers, small toys and books.
