Fort York National Historic Site - Map it

Set on several acres in the heart of downtown Toronto, this location offers an excellent view of modern downtown Toronto from one of the oldest sites in Toronto. This location is excellent for commercial photography, film shoots, receptions, gala dinners, tented or large events and more!

Capacity

  • 5-5000
  • banquet space can accommodate up to 180 seated, 220 cocktails

Gibson House Museum - Map it

Toronto's fields and livestock are gone, but the 1848 Gibson House continues to provide a glimpse back into Toronto's rural past. The period rooms tell the tale of David Gibson and his family. This location is great for commercial and private photography, film shoots, meeting and small events (excludes the museum).

Historic Zion Schoolhouse - Map it

Built in 1869 and restored to 1910, Zion Schoolhouse provided elementary education to generations of children of L'Amaroux. Today it is one of Toronto's last remaining one-room schoolhouses, with seating for 34 in the historic desks. The grounds of the schoolhouse make a great backdrop for wedding photography, small film shoots and receptions.

Mackenzie House Museum - Map it

The restored 1857 townhome of William Lyon Mackenzie, complete with original artifacts that belonged to the family, is showcased in this convenient downtown location. There is a modern gallery and an historic print shop with a walk-out to a private garden. Rental space can also include the historic kitchen and day room. This location is ideal for commercial/private photography and small cocktail receptions.

Montgomery's Inn - Map it

When Thomas Montgomery built and managed the inn in 1830 it was a lively meeting place for the community. Capture the hospitality of 150 years past by holding your special event in one of our two rooms, the Tea Room or the Briarly Room. This location is great for commercial and private photography, film shoots, meetings and small events.

Scarborough Museum - Map it

Nestled in the beautiful grounds of Thomson Memorial Park, the Scarborough Museum tells the story of Scarborough's first settlers and the lives they created upon their arrival.

The 1858 Cornell House, the McCowan log house and the Hough Carriage Works are all surrounded by a white picket fence, which make for a wonderful backdrop for wedding photos, commercial photography or film shoots.

Spadina Museum: Historic House and Gardens - Map it

Located at the top of Spadina Road, overlooking the city, Spadina is a magnificent 1866 estate on 6 acres including one of Toronto's finest restored Victorian and Edwardian gardens. This mansion was home to Toronto financier James Austin and three generations of his family. This location is excellent for commercial photography, wedding photos, small wedding ceremonies and film shoots.

Todmorden Mills Heritage Theatre & Arts Centre - Map it

Todmorden Mills, just minutes from downtown, is set in 15 hectares of green space in the Don Valley, 9.2 of which are a Wildflower Preserve. This unique site includes historic homes, the Brewery Gallery, the Papermill Theatre and Galleries and a large free parking lot. The grounds are perfect for tented special events as well as commercial and private photography. Our fully accessible, renovated historic Papermill building features a gallery and reception area with a coat check, a serving area and a state-of-the-art theatre that seats 164.
