Please note: Due to construction of our new Visitor Centre, Fort York can only be accessed from the entrance at Fleet Street and Garrison Road.
By car from the east: Take the Spadina exit off the Gardiner Expressway and continue west on Lakeshore Boulevard. Turn right at Fort York Boulevard and then left at Fleet Street. From Fleet Street take the first right at Garrison Road and continue all the way to the parking lot at the end.
By car from the west: Take the Jameson exit off the Gardiner Expressway and continue east on Lakeshore Boulevard. Continue past Strachan Avenue and turn left at Fort York Boulevard. Take an immediate left at Fleet Street and then an immediate right at Garrison Road. Continue all the way to the parking lot at the end.
By transit: The BATHURST 511 “Exhibition” streetcar stops at Fort York Boulevard and Bathurst St. Walk west on Fort York Blvd., following the footpath under the Gardiner up to the west gate of the fort. The 509 “Exhibition” streetcar/bus from Union Station stops at Fort York Boulevard and Fleet Street. Walk north on Fort York Boulevard, following the footpath under the Gardiner up to the west gate of the fort. Please proceed to the Canteen to sign in.
Booked groups arriving by transit or foot can access the Bathurst Street gate by calling ahead to make arrangements.
