Family FUNdays

Drop in at any of your City of Toronto museums for Family FUNdays: Family Sunday and P.A. Day Friday for a ton of fun activities! Admission to all events below (except Scarborough Museum's P.A. Day camps) is Pay-What-You-Can!

Please note that there are exceptions for the dates of Family FUNdays at certain sites. Please check the listings carefully before you plan your visit.

Colborne Lodge Family FUNdays

Located on Colborne Lodge Drive just north of The Queensway

Family Sunday: March 4, 12 to 4 p.m.
P.A. Day Friday: June 1, 12 to 5 p.m.
Kids will fish for the truth (or legend) about 1813 and High Park when you bring them to Colborne Lodge. Purchase a Grenadier's shako (hat) for $2.25 plus tax for your kids.

Fort York Family Fun FUNdays

Located at 250 Fort York Boulevard (or 100 Garrison Road)

Family Sunday: March 4, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (activities 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
P.A. Day Friday: June 1, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (activities 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
Join us for some family fun. Kids can try an authentic War of 1812 soldier's drill, learn how officers trained with the sword, and experience a game that the Garrison children might have played. Enjoy a tour of the site including the Officers' Mess and 1826 kitchen. Visitors can tour the rest of the exhibits and walk the ramparts of this national treasure.

Gibson House Family FUNdays

Located at 5172 Yonge Street, north of the North York Centre and Park Home Avenue, in behind the construction. Take the laneway that runs north of the construction, west off Yonge. Look for directional signs.

Family Sunday: March 4, 12 to 5 p.m.
Drop in on your neighbours and friends from Willowdale circa 1851! Calling on neighbours was a popular winter pastime for early settlers and the Gibson home is ready for your visit. Enjoy warm cider in front of the historic kitchen's crackling fire. Children can help to prepare treats for the open hearth. Relax in the parlour and hear the fascinating stories about this family who helped found the town north of York.

Mackenzie House Family FUNdays

Located at 82 Bond Street, 2 streets east of Yonge Street, south of Dundas Street.

P.A. Day Friday: June 1, 12 to 5 p.m.
Bring your family to the home of William Lyon Mackenzie and his family! Print a souvenir of your visit on our 1845 printing press, and try your hand at paper weaving.

Montgomery's Inn Family FUNdays

Located at 4709 Dundas Street West, at Islington Avenue, Southeast corner.

Family Sunday: March 4, 1 to 4 p.m.
Bring the family to Montgomery's Inn where you can join the cooks in the historic kitchen and prepare tasty treats over the fire. Drop in activities, no pre-registration required.
P.A. Day Friday: June 1, 1 to 5 p.m.
Kids will play tavern games in a restored 19th century tavern. Belly-up to the bar for a free glass of hot cider.

Scarborough Museum Family FUNdays

Located in Thomson Memorial Park just north of Lawrence Avenue at 1007 Brimley Road.

Visit the museum for lots of fun activities for the whole family. Pioneer crafts, snow painting, scavenger hunts, wood stove baking, and hot chocolate for all!

Located at 285 Spadina Road next door to Casa Loma.

Bring your family for a tour which includes a scavenger hunt and decorate your own cupcake in our historic 1930s kitchen.

Todmorden Mills Heritage Site Family FUNdays

Located on Pottery Road between Broadview Avenue and the Bayview extension. Across the street from Fantasy Farm.

Family Sunday: March 4, 12 to 4 p.m.
Enjoy site tours and tasty treats prepared on our 19th-century open hearth. There will be take-home crafts for children.
