Ward 22 St. Paul's

Michael was the City Councillor for St. Paul's East - Ward 22 which is bounded on the north by Eglinton Avenue West and Broadway Avenue, on the east by Bayview Avenue, on the south by Moore Avenue and along the North Toronto Rail line, and the westerly border is Spadina Road north to Eglinton Avenue West.

Councillor Walker's philosophy:
"My twenty-three years of service in elected office have been guided by a fundamental belief in the politician as a true representative of the needs and aspirations of constituents. To that end, I have actively promoted community organization and input in the development of a fiscally sound and socially progressive city".
