Mayor John Tory will be joined by members of City Council, Pride Week Co-Chairs and members of the public as he raises the rainbow flag and officially proclaims June 19 to 28 as Pride Week in the city of Toronto.

Pride Week has been proclaimed by the City of Toronto since 1991. Pride Week is one of Toronto’s Signature Events and is an internationally-recognized celebration which showcases the activism, history and culture of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer and Two-Spirit (LGBTQ2S) community.
