News Release
July 22, 2019

The City of Toronto is inviting residents to share feedback on regulations to enhance property standards and building maintenance at a public consultation meeting this week.

Date: Wednesday, July 24
Time: 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Location: Metro Hall, Room 308/309, 55 John St.

Participants will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the Property Standards By-law, which sets common standards and regulations for all properties, including maintenance, and will be asked for input on several topics, including how best to regulate indoor temperatures and manage lot grading, odour and pests such as rodents.

Anyone not able to attend may also share feedback by email to mlsfeedback@toronto.ca.

All feedback will be used to help inform reports going to City Council toward the end of 2019 and spring of 2020.

Residents are encouraged to sign up for e-updates on the review at http://bit.ly/2H1CL7v, and by clicking “Get Involved in your Community” and selecting the “Property Standards Review” distribution list.
