The City of Toronto is working non-stop with its healthcare partners, pharmacies and Toronto Public Health to administer all available COVID-19 vaccines. To date, 3,111,061 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in Toronto.

As of yesterday evening, approximately 812,551 people have booked COVID-19 vaccination appointments at a City-operated clinic. Vaccinations at City clinics are by appointment only and walk-in clients cannot be accommodated.

Individuals who are 12 years and older are eligible to book a first dose vaccination appointment. Adults age 18 and older who received a first dose of Moderna or Pfizer prior to May 30 or a first dose of AstraZeneca prior to May 1 are eligible to book accelerated second dose appointments. All City-run clinics are by appointment only and can be booked through the dark blue “Book a Vaccine” button on the City’s COVID-19 webpage or by calling the provincial vaccine booking line at 1-833-943-3900 (TTY 1-866-797-0007).

Anyone who cannot attend a scheduled appointment is urged to cancel or reschedule as soon as possible to allow others to book. Appointments at City-run clinics can be cancelled or changed at the the provincial Vaccine Booking Appointment webpage or by calling the provincial booking line.

The Team Toronto effort is focused on getting as many residents vaccinated as quickly as possible based on available supply. It is also expanding mobile vaccination efforts across Toronto to bring vaccines to the neighbourhoods most in need.

Today, Team Toronto Mobile Sprint Strategy will vaccinate approximately 150 people at the following pop-up clinics:

  • Catholic Cross Cultural Services (M1J) – Anyone 12 years and older who lives or works in Scarborough
  • Crescent Town Elementary School – Second doses available for individuals who lives, works or attends school in an “M” postal code. First doses are available for individuals 12 years and older who lives, works or attends school in an “M” postal code (Moderna for individuals 18 years and older and Pfizer for individuals 12 – 17 years old).

The City and healthcare partners are working to operate a total of approximately 40 clinics today, including mobile teams, on-site and pop-up clinics, to vaccinate priority groups identified by the Province of Ontario’s priority framework.

  • Today, will vaccinate up to 17,810 eligible residents across nine City-operated immunization clinics: Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Toronto Congress Centre, Scarborough Town Centre, Malvern Community Recreation Centre, Mitchell Field Arena, The Hangar, Cloverdale Mall, North Toronto Memorial Community Centre and Carmine Stefano Community Centre.

Unity Health Toronto, Downtown East Toronto OHT and West Toronto OHT 

  • Yesterday, held two on-site clinics, two mobile clinics, and four pop-up clinics.
  • Vaccinated people who are hospital and community-based healthcare workers, homebound adults, Indigenous peoples, individuals age 12 years and older, and those eligible for a second dose.
  • Today, will hold three on-site clinics, two mobile clinics and five pop-up clinics.
  • Will vaccinate people belonging to the same groups.

University Health Network

  • Yesterday, held three on-site clinics, and three mobile clinics.
  • Vaccinated 2,679 people who are healthcare workers and students, long-term care staff, essential caregivers, patients with priority health conditions, Indigenous peoples, people age 12 years and older, people living in shelters and congregate settings, and homebound patients.
  • Today, will hold three on-site clinics and two mobile clinics.
  • Will vaccinate 2,986 people belonging to the same groups.

  • Yesterday, held one on-site clinic and five mobile clinics.
  • Vaccinated 3,559 people who are age 70 years and older, or had their first dose before May 9, or live in congregate setting.
  • Today, will hold one on-site clinic and two mobile clinics.
  • Will vaccinate 3,310 people belonging to the same groups, as well as homebound patients.

  • Yesterday, held one pop-up clinic, and a mobile clinic.
  • Vaccinated 2,000 people who are age 12 years and older, health care workers and people who are 80 years and older receiving first and second doses.
  • Today, will hold one pop-up clinic, and three mobile clinics.
  • Will vaccinate 1,700 people belonging to the same groups.

  • Yesterday, held five on-site clinics and one mobile clinics.
  • Vaccinated 4,808 people who are age 12 years and older who live or work in Scarborough, live in congregate setting.
  • Today, will hold four on-site clinics and three mobile clinics.
  • Will vaccinate approximately 4,617 belonging to the same groups above
