Toronto City Clerk John Elvidge has declared the official results for the City of Toronto’s January 15 Councillor Ward 22 Scarborough-Agincourt by-election. Nick Mantas was declared elected to Ward 22 Scarborough-Agincourt.

Nick Mantas has taken the oath of office today and assumes duties as City Councillor for Scarborough-Agincourt.

The official declaration of results is available here . Results are broken down by each candidate and indicate the total number of votes each candidate received. Poll-by-poll results are also available, and show the number of votes cast in each of the election day voting locations, the three days of advance vote and through mail-in voting.

Health and safety measures for voting places were developed in consultation with Toronto Public Health and successfully implemented during the advance vote and on election day. These measures exceeded the requirements for other businesses and services that remain open. Along with the health and safety measures that were implemented in the voting place, Toronto Elections for the first time offered eligible voters to vote by mail as a safe and secure alternative to in-person voting.
