April 24, 2019

City Councillor Kristyn Wong-Tam (Ward 13 Toronto Centre) and representatives from the Centre for Independent Living Toronto and its community advisory committee will join community stakeholders and City of Toronto staff tomorrow to celebrate the kickoff of the seventh installment of Toronto For All campaign. Toronto For All shines a light on the challenges routinely encountered by people with physical disabilities.
As part of the campaign, an enclosed TTC transit shelter will be featured for the duration of the campaign to promote awareness of the barriers faced every day by individuals with physical disabilities.
Date: Thursday, April 25
Time: 11 to 11:30 a.m.
Location: TTC bus shelter at southwest corner of intersection at King Street West and Bathurst Street
This installation is part of a larger awareness campaign to bring attention to the inequality that exists for people with disabilities and to encourage Torontonians to take action to do more to create an inclusive city for everyone.
