Etobicoke York Community Council recommends that:

 

1.            City Council amend the Official Plan for the property at 2123 Lake Shore Boulevard West and 68 Marine Parade Drive substantially in accordance with the draft Official Plan Amendment attached as Attachment 6.

 

2.            City Council amend Zoning By-law 1994-149 for the property at 2123 Lake Shore Boulevard West and 68 Marine Parade Drive substantially in accordance with the draft Zoning By-law Amendment attached as Attachment 7.

 

3.            City Council authorize the City Solicitor to make such stylistic and technical changes to the draft Official Plan Amendment and/or draft Zoning By-law Amendment as may be required.

 

4.            The Land Owners Precinct Plan be finalized to the satisfaction of the City Solicitor and City Planning, in consultation with Technical and Transportation Services.

 

5.            The City Solicitor in consultation with the Owner be required to amend any of the agreements, already registered on-title, as necessary to secure the community benefits, parks and road infrastructure improvements described in this report.

The application to amend the Official Plan and Zoning By-law proposes to increase the permitted building height of 37 storeys, to allow a 39-storey condominium building on the lands at 2123 Lake Shore Boulevard West. The two 16-storey mid-rise buildings previously approved at 68 Marine Parade Drive have been redesigned to a single 30-storey building with retail uses at grade.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.         Approved the request for sign variance at 10 Wickman Road, subject to the following conditions:

 

a.         That both faces of the existing billboard to be converted to digital with static images, as the only permitted uses.

 

b.         That static images be allowed to change every 5-10 seconds.

 

c.         That video, scrolling, full motion or animation not be permitted uses, only static digital images will be permitted.

 

d.         That this technology shall allow for the digital board to automatically adjust itself to control any ambient light levels.

 

e.         That time be provided for the City of Toronto and/or the immediate community to use for community messages, Amber alerts, etc.

 

f.          That payment of any annual licensing fee be made as required, including those that may be required under the new City-wide harmonized Sign By-law.

 

g.         That Astral Media be required to remove the current third party sign located at 17 Zorra Road prior to the issuance of the building permit for the sign at 10 Wickman Road.

Toronto Building received a Request for Approval of a Variance from Article I of Chapter 693, Signs, of the Toronto Municipal Code, from Mr. Adam Kelly of Kramer Design Associates, on behalf of Astral Media and the property owners, 2167661 Ontario Limited.  The request is to permit to alter the existing v-shaped third-party ground sign by replacing the static display face areas with new digital display video faces consisting of Light Emitting Diodes (LED) located at 10 Wickman Rd and within 400 meters of the limit of the F. G. Gardiner Expressway.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.            Refused the request for approval of a variance from Article I of Chapter 693, Signs, of the Toronto Municipal Code at 44 Zorra Street.

Toronto Building received a Request for Approval of a Variance from Article I of Chapter 693, Signs, of the Toronto Municipal Code, from Mr. Rick Taddeo of Supersign Lambda Inc., on behalf of 1127792 Ontario Ltd., the property owners.  The request is to allow an existing double face illuminated third-party ground sign to remain at 44 Zorra Street and within 400 meters of the limit of the F. G. Gardiner Expressway.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.         Approved the request for sign variance at 1635 The Queensway, subject to the following conditions:

1.         Approved the request for sign variance at 1631-1633 The Queensway, subject to the satisfaction of the Director, Transportation Services, Etobicoke York District that there are no safety concerns, and that if there are safety concerns that they be reported to the Etobicoke York Community Council.

 

Toronto Building received a Request for Approval of a Variance from Article I of Chapter 693, Signs, of the Toronto Municipal Code, from Mr. Sid Catalano of Pattison Outdoor, on behalf of 1631- 1633 The Queensway Corporation, the property owners.  The request is to permit installation of one single face illuminated third-party trivision ground sign located at 1631-1633 The Queensway and within 400 meters of the limit of the F. G. Gardiner Expressway.

 

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.         Deferred consideration of the report (August 25, 2009) from the Manager, Municipal Licensing and Standards, Etobicoke York District on a fence exemption request at 15 Jeff Drive to its October 13, 2009 meeting and the owner be requested to appear before Committee.

This report is in response to an application by the owner of the property to maintain the existing board on board wood fence with lattice on top and also the newly constructed portion, at the present heights.  The fence is located in the rear yard and exceeds the 2 metre height permitted,  Toronto Municipal Code, Chapter 447, Fences by 0.34 metres.

Etobicoke York Community Council recommends that:

 

1.            City Council deny the request to remove (1) City-owned tree at 81 Twenty Fourth Street.

Etobicoke York Community Council, on June 9, 2009, requested that staff further investigate the issues raised by the owner of 81 Twenty Fourth Street regarding starlings and the owner’s request to remove the City-owned green ash tree.

 

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.         Approved the request for approval of variances from Chapter 215, Signs, of the former City of Etobicoke Municipal Code to erect temporary signs for a sales pavillion at 7 – 21 Richgrove Drive on the condition that:

 

a.            that the number of banner signs is reduced. Banner signs identified on site plan as numbers 1, 5 and 6 are to be removed, and

 

b.            all signs that relate to the proposed development be removed prior to the issuance of any new sign permits unless a permit has been granted for the signs or the signs are part of this variance report.

 

2.            The applicant be advised, upon approval of variances, of the requirement to obtain the necessary sign permit.

Request for approval of variances from Chapter 215, Signs, of the former City of Etobicoke Municipal Code to erect temporary signs for a sales pavillion at 7 – 21 Richgrove Dr.

 

The request comes from Robyn Rabinowitz with Minto Urban Communities Inc. for M Richgrove  Corporation, attn. Mark Bales, Development Manger for approval of the variances from Chapter 215, Signs, of the former City of Etobicoke Municipal Code.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.            Approved the request for variance from Chapter 215, Signs, of the former City of Etobicoke Municipal Code to erect a first party illuminated fascia sign at 2150 Islington Avenue

 

2.            Directed that the applicant be advised that, upon approval of variances, of the requirement to obtain the necessary sign permit.

 

3.            Directed that the applicant be advised that MTO (Ministry of Transportation) approval will be required.

Request for approval of variance from Chapter 215, Signs, of the former City of Etobicoke Municipal Code to erect a first party illuminated fascia sign for "Jones Deslaurier” located on the north elevation at the top floor of the building at 2150 Islington Avenue.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.            Approved the request for variances from Chapter 215, Signs, of the former City of Etobicoke Municipal Code, to permit the installation of four illuminated general identification signs at 400 Kipling Avenue.

 

2.            Directed that the applicant be advised, upon approval of variances, of the requirement to obtain the necessary sign permit.

The purpose of this report is to review and make recommendations on a request by Mr. Kirk Morozov, of Kramer Design Associates, on behalf of  Dan Arts of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment  Ltd., for an approval of variances from Chapter 215, Signs, of the former City of Etobicoke Municipal Code, to permit installation of four illuminated general identification signs “Master Card Centre for Hockey Excellence” located along east, west and north elevations of the building, and two illuminated logo fascia signs “Toronto Maple Leafs” and “Marlies” located along the north and south elevations of the building at 400 Kipling Avenue.

1.            Approved the request for variances from By-law No. 1-83 and By-law 3369-79, of the former Municipality of York to replace signs at 16 John Street.

 

2.            Directed that the applicant be advised that, upon approval of variances, of the requirement to obtain the necessary sign permit.

This report reviews and makes recommendations on a request by Lorne Persiko on behalf of Toronto Parking Authority for approval of variances from By-law No. 1-83 and By-law 3369-79, of the former Municipality of York to replace, for third party advertising purposes, an existing four-sided illuminated pedestal sign located along the west side of the property with a newly designed two-sided illuminated ground sign at 16 John Street.

1.            Approved the request for variances from By-law No. 1-83 and By-law 3369-79, of the former Municipality of York to replace signs at 17 Riverview Gardens.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.            Approved enacting a 40 km/h speed limit on Charleston Road between Swan Avenue and Bloor Street West as the 40 km/h speed limit warrant is not achieved.

The purpose of this report is to present the results of a 40 km/h speed limit warrant analysis for Charleston Road between Swan Avenue and Bloor Street West.

 

As the 40 km/h Speed Limit Warrant requirements are not achieved, a 40 km/h speed limit is not recommended on Charleston Road between Swan Avenue and Bloor Street West.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.            Approved rescinding the existing parking prohibition that applies between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday on the east side of Monterrey Drive from Taysham Crescent to a point 203 metres south of Taysham Crescent.

 

2.            Approved rescinding the existing parking prohibition that applies between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday on both sides of Monterrey Drive from a point 203 metres south of Taysham Crescent to a point 43 metres south thereof.

 

3.            Approved rescinding the existing stopping prohibition that applies between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday on the west side of Monterrey Drive from Taysham Crescent to a point 203 metres south of Taysham Crescent.

 

4.            Approved enacting a parking prohibition that applies between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday on the east side of Monterrey Drive from Taysham Crescent to a point 180 metres south of Taysham Crescent.

The purpose of this report is to obtain approval for the installation of a “Maximum 10 Minute Limit” parking regulation on the east side of Monterrey  Drive along a portion of the frontage of Beaumonde Heights Junior Middle School (J.M.S.).  This regulation will apply between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.            Approved rescinding the “No Parking Anytime” prohibition on the south side of Mars Road between Highway 27 and Baywood Road.

 

2.            Approved enacting a “No Parking Anytime” prohibition on the north side of Mars Road between Highway 27 and Baywood Road.

The purpose of this report is to propose the introduction of a parking prohibition on the north side of Mars Road, and the removal of the parking prohibition from the south side.  This parking regulation will ensure good sightlines for motorists exiting from the area driveways while maintaining two-way travel.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.            Approved enacting 40 km/h speed limits on Alba Place, Auld Croft Road, Autumn Glen Circle, Briarwood Avenue, Corylus Court, Glen Hollow Avenue, Halesia Drive, Shady Glen Road, Windwood Drive and Woodsview Avenue.

The purpose of this report is to obtain approval to reduce the speed limit on the streets within the community to the north and east of Humber College Boulevard and south of Finch Avenue West.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.            Approved enacting a 40 km/h speed limit on Alhart Drive between Calstock Drive and Thistle Down Boulevard, as the requirements of the 40 km/h Speed Limit Warrant are achieved.

The purpose of this report is to obtain approval to reduce the speed limit on Alhart Drive.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.            Approved enacting a “No Parking, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Thursdays only” prohibition on the north side of Lightwood Drive between Sanagan Road and a point 285 metres east of Sanagan Road.

The purpose of this report is to obtain approval for the installation of a “No Parking 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thursdays only” regulation on the north side of Lightwood Drive between Sanagan Road and a point 285 metres east of Sanagan Road.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.            Approved enacting a 40 km/h speed limit on Berry Creek Drive between Clearbrooke Circle and Moncrieff Drive, as the requirements of the 40 km/h Speed Limit Warrant are achieved.

The purpose of this report is to obtain approval to reduce the speed limit on Berry Creek Drive.  A staff assessment has determined that the criteria for the installation of a 40 km/h speed limit are achieved, in that the findings are consistent with the 40 km/h Speed Limit Warrant.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.            Approved enacting a “No Standing Anytime” prohibition on the south side of Nearctic Drive between Highway 27 and Queen's Plate Drive.

 

2.            Approved enacting a “No Standing Anytime” prohibition on the north side of Nearctic Drive between Highway 27 and a point 58 metres further east.

The purpose of this report is to obtain approval for the installation of a “No Standing Anytime” regulation on the south side and a portion of the north side of Nearctic Drive between Highway 27 and Queens Plate Drive.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.            Approved enacting a “No Left Turn” anytime prohibition for vehicles exiting the school driveway located on The Westway approximately 64 metres west of Kipling Avenue.

The purpose of this report is to obtain approval to prohibit left turns at anytime for vehicles exiting the Parent Safety Program (P.S.P) loop located on The Westway at Dixon Grove School, 315 The Westway.

Etobicoke York Community Council recommends that:

 

1.            City Council approve the removal of the pedestrian crossover on Evans Avenue at Treeview Drive as this location fails the pedestrian crossover safety audit.

 

2.            City Council approve the installation of traffic control signals at the intersection of Evans Avenue and Treeview Drive.

The purpose of this report is to respond to the directive from Etobicoke York Community Council, at its meeting of July 7, 2008, that staff report in one year on the feasibility of converting the existing pedestrian crossover at the intersection of Evans Avenue and Treeview Drive to traffic control signals.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.            Approved enacting a parking prohibition that applies between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the south and east side of Starcross Court from Emily Avenue to a point 100 metres further west.

The purpose of this report is to obtain approval for the installation of a No Parking regulation that applies between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., from Monday to Friday.

 

This proposed regulation will only allow daytime parking on one side of the road thus improving two way traffic flow and overall safety for all road users.

 

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.            Approved rescinding the existing “No Parking Anytime” prohibition on the north and south sides of Elsmere Avenue between Weston Road and the easterly terminus of the street.

 

2.            Approved enacting a “No Standing Anytime” prohibition on the north and south sides of Elsmere Avenue between Weston Road and the easterly terminus of the street.

The purpose of this report is to obtain approval for the installation of a “No Standing Anytime” regulation on both sides of Elsmere Avenue, from Weston Road to the easterly terminus of the street.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.            Approved rescinding the “One Hour Parking, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday” on the east and west sides of Britannia Avenue, between St. Clair Avenue West and the northerly terminus street.

The purpose of this report is to obtain approval to rescind the existing “One Hour Parking, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday” regulation, on the east and west sides of Britannia Avenue from St. Clair Avenue West to the northerly terminus of the street.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.            Approved rescinding the existing “No Parking Anytime” on the south side of Humber Boulevard South, from Hilldale Road to Avon Avenue.

 

2.            Approved enacting a “No Parking Anytime” prohibition on the south side of Humber Boulevard South, from Hilldale Avenue to a point 85 metres east thereof and from a point 150.5 metres east of Hilldale Road to Avon Avenue.

 

3.            Approved enacting a “No Parking, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Daily” prohibition on the south side of Humber Boulevard South, from a point 85 metres east of Hilldale Avenue to a point 65.5 metres further east.

The purpose of this report is to obtain approval to modify the existing Humber Boulevard South parking regulations to allow three-hour parking for a small section of the roadway, on the south side of Humber Boulevard South, from a point 85 metres east of Hilldale Road and a point 65.5 metres east thereof.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.         Approved the application for the proposed encroachment for a proposed L- Shaped access ramp, measuring 1.19 metres by 9.02 metres, encroaching onto the City road allowance at 356 Windermere Avenue, subject to the following conditions:

 

a.            The City Solicitor be authorized to prepare an Encroachment Agreement for the proposed encroachment.

 

b.            The owner to enter into an Encroachment Agreement with the City of Toronto and pay all fees associated with the preparation of the Agreement. Should an annual fee be charged in future, the owner shall be responsible for payment of the fees.

 

c.            The signed agreement to be returned to the City along with the required Certificate of Insurance, evidencing a third party bodily injury and property damage insurance in the amount of $2,000,000.00 or such other coverage and greater amount as the City may require, and naming the City of Toronto as an additional insured party under the policy.

 

d.            The Certificate of Insurance to be renewed on an annual basis for the life of the encroachment.

 

e.            The owner complies with the regulations set out in the former City of Toronto Municipal Code, Chapter 313, as amended, Streets and Sidewalks.

1.            City Council accept the Offer to Purchase from Khaled Allaham and Salah Dean Allaham to purchase the City-owned parcel of vacant land located at the rear of 102 and 104 Stanley Avenue, shown as Part 1 and Part 2 on Sketch No. PS-2001-006 (the “Sketch”), being Part of Lot 54, Plan 852Y and designated as Parts 5 and 6 on Reference Plan 64R-2060, City of Toronto, subject to the retention of an easement over the entire property for sewer purposes (the “Property”), in the amount of $7,000.00, substantially on the terms and conditions outlined in Appendix “A” to this report.

 

2.            City Council authorize each of the Chief Corporate Officer and the Director of Real Estate Services severally to accept the Offer to Purchase on behalf of the City.

 

3.            City Council direct that a portion of the proceeds of closing be directed to fund the outstanding expenses related to the Property and the completion of the sale transaction.

 

4.            City Council authorize the City Solicitor to complete the transaction on behalf of the City, including paying any necessary expenses, amending the closing, due diligence and other dates, and amending and waiving terms and conditions, on such terms as she considers reasonable.

The purpose of this report is to obtain approval for the sale of the City-owned parcel of vacant land at the rear of 102 and 104 Stanley Avenue.  Negotiations with the adjoining owners at 102 Stanley Avenue have resulted in the Offer to Purchase that is being recommended for acceptance by the City.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.            Approved the additions and deletions to the Regal Heights Village and Weston Village BIA Boards of Management as set out in Attachment No. 1 to the report (August 19, 2009) from the Director, Business Services.

 

2.            Approved Schedule A of the Municipal Code Chapter 19, Business Improvement Areas, being amended to reflect the changes to the BIA Board of Management.

The purpose of this report is to recommend Etobicoke York Community Council approve the additions and deletions to the Regal Heights Village and Weston Village BIA Boards of Management.

Etobicoke York Community Council recommends that:

 

1.            City Council approve formally assuming Birdtstone Crescent, the municipal services, and the local park that were constructed as part of the residential development located on the site with the former address of 1912 St. Clair Avenue West.

 

2.            City Council authorze the Acting Director, Development Engineering to release the performance guarantee.

 

3.            City Council direct that an assumption By-law be prepared to assume Birdstone Crescent.

 

4.            City Council authorize and direct the City Solicitor to register the assumption By-law in the Land Registry Office, at the expense of the Owner.

 

5.            City Council authorize the City Clerk and Treasurer to sign any release or other documentation necessary to give effect thereto.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.         Directed the Director of Parks, Forestry and Recreation, to report to its October 13, 2009 meeting on renaming Weston/Gunns Park, in accordance with the City of Toronto’s Naming and Renaming for Parks Policy.

This report requests Council’s authority for the City to assume the Birdstone Crescent and the local park that were constructed with the residential development of the lands located at the north-east quadrant of Weston Road and St. Clair Avenue West by Tiffany Park (St. Clair) Ltd.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.         Received the Information Report (August 27, 2009) from the City Surveyor, for information.

 

This report responds to the request by the Etobicoke York Community Council for the interpretation and application of the “exceptional circumstances” criterion set out in the Toronto Street Naming Policy. Specifically, the policy states that streets should be named after living persons only in exceptional circumstances.

Etobicoke York Community Council recommends that:

 

1.         City Council approve granting an exception to its policy of avoiding similar sounding names and avoiding the naming of streets after living persons, to allow the names Steve Sanderson Street, Parrotta Drive, McCartney Street, Ron Attwell Street, Lou Pomanti Street, Bob Yuill Drive, Mary Chapman Boulevard and Chabot Terrace being approved to identify eight proposed streets on the draft Plan of Subdivision at 2277 to 2295 Sheppard Avenue West.

 

2.         City Council authorize and direct the appropriate City Officials to take the necessary action to give effect thereto.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.         Directed that the City Surveyor forward a Supplementary Report to the City Council meeting on September 30, 2009, revising the COMMENTS section in the August 26, 2009 report, to include a fourth column, clearly outlining the BIA recommendations for street names, stakeholder comments, and the final revised recommended names.

 

2.         Directed that the City Surveyor include this information in all future reports for naming of streets in accordance with City Council’s street naming policy.

This report recommends, subject to the concurrence of City Council, the approval of eight street names for use on the draft Plan of Subdivision at 2277 to 2295 Sheppard Avenue West.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.         Received the Information Report (August 20, 2009) from the Director, Community Planning, Etobicoke York District, for information.

This report provides a status of the development applications submitted for 2800 Bloor Street West and advises that staff will prepare a detailed report on the revised proposal for the October 13, 2009 Etobicoke York Community Council meeting.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.         Deferred consideration the Final Report (August 27, 2009) from the Director, Community Planning, Etobicoke York District, to its November 10, 2009 meeting, to allow the applicant to submit a proposal for the construction of 40 to 50 single family dwelling units.

 

2.         Held a statutory public meeting on September 15, 2009 and notice was given in accordance with the Planning Act.

The applications propose 82 freehold townhouse units at 720 Humberwood Boulevard.

 

The proposal implements the Apartment Neighbourhood objectives of the Official Plan and is consistent with the Provincial Policy Statement and the Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe requirements for the accommodation of residential growth.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.         Received the Information Report (August 31, 2009) from the Director, Transportation Services, Etobicoke York District, for information.

The purpose of this report is to advise Etobicoke York Community Council on the progress made toward legalising commercial boulevard parking along Islington Avenue, between Steeles Avenue West and Finch Avenue West, including the potential for landscaping improvements at selected locations.

Etobicoke York Community Council recommends that:

 

1.            City Council rescind the “No Parking Anytime” prohibition on the east side of Torbarrie Road between a point 510.0 metres north of the westerly limit of Jethro Road and a point 630.0 metres further north thereof.

 

2.            City Council enact a “No Parking, 12:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.” prohibition on the east side of Torbarrie Road from Judy Sgro Avenue to a point 242 metres south of Judy Sgro Avenue.

 

3.            City Council enact a “No Parking Anytime” prohibition on the east side of Torbarrie Road from Judy Sgro Avenue to a point 390 metres north of Judy Sgro Avenue.

The purpose of this report is to amend the “No Parking Anytime” regulation on the east side of Torbarrie Road, abutting the residential subdivision known as Oakdale Village to permit daytime parking.  By approving this report, on-street parking up to the City-wide maximum of three hours will be allowed on a portion of one side of the road.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.         Directed that the Executive Director, Technical Services, modify the wording of the standard Public Notice of Construction letter, to better address the concerns expressed by residents in the Etobicoke York District.

Confidential Letter on an Ontario Municipal Board matter regarding 1465 Lawrence Avenue West.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.         Approved the Application for Fence Exemption at 41 Blair Athol Crescent, subject to the following conditions:

 

a.         The tempered glass fence shall be installed in accordance with the Manufacturer’s specification;

 

b.         The rest of the pool enclosure shall be constructed in accordance with the Toronto Municipal Code, Chapter 447, Fences, and Ontario Building Code;

 

c.         Windows sash control devices shall be installed at all windows, with a sill less than 1.5 metres from interior floor level, that form part of the pool enclosure to restrict it from opening more than 100 millimetres, or such windows to be equipped with guards that do not have any openings exceeding 100 millimetres; and

 

d.         Amended drawings shall be submitted and Fence Enclosure Permit to be obtained from Toronto Building Division.

This report is in response to an application made by the owner of the property for a fence exemption to install 1.2 metres high tempered glass fence enclosures including a fence and a gate of similar construction around the respective staircase landings leading from the house to swimming pool at the rear yard, and maintain two existing close board wood fences on the north side of the property that exceeded the maximum height prescribed by Toronto Municipal Code, Chapter 447, Fence.

Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.         Approved the reopening of item EY18.15 – Traffic Assessment – The Kingsway Neighbourhood: MOE Part II Order Request Resolution, in that a 12-month period has passed and that a regular election has not occurred.

 

2.         Directed that the report (June 17, 2008) from the Director, Transportation Services, Etobicoke York District be brought forward for consideration at its October 13, 2009 meeting.

Motion requesting the reopening and reconsideration of item EY18.15 to allow for the separation of the two different Staff Recommendations and vote upon them separately.  The recommendations relate to intersection improvements/road alterations on The Kingsway, and Staff recommended speed humps (which met technical warrants of the Traffic Calming Policy).
