Today, the City of Toronto and its Night Economy Ambassador, Deputy Mayor Michael Thompson (Ward 21 Scarborough Centre) launched a survey and listening tour to learn how the City can best support and grow Toronto’s vibrant night economy.
The night economy refers to the social, cultural and economic activities that take place between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. and includes nightlife such as live music, entertainment and restaurants, as well as manufacturing, shift work, health care, maintenance, delivery and transit.
Toronto residents, including those who work at night and those who own a business that is open at night, are invited to complete the night economy survey, which will be available from today to April 28 at https://cotsurvey.chkmkt.com/nighteconomy and to attend one of the stops on the night economy listening tour:
