The City of Toronto and Team Toronto vaccination partners continue to make getting vaccinated against COVID-19 as easy as possible. Today, Toronto Public Health is once again reporting increasing COVID-19 case counts in Toronto as the City and vaccination partners urge everyone to get both vital doses of vaccine.
Toronto Public Health is reporting 158 new cases of COVID-19 in Toronto today. Since the start of the pandemic, there have been a total of 171,894 cases of COVID-19. There are 20 people hospitalized. To date, there have been 3,615 COVID-19 deaths in Toronto. In total, 167,271 people have recovered. Case status data can be found on Toronto Public Health’s reporting dashboard.

City-run immunization clinics continue to vaccinate people who walk in without an appointment from noon to 7 p.m. daily. Information on the many ways to get vaccinated immediately is on the City’s COVID-19: How to Get Vaccinated webpage.
While vaccination progress continues, all people in the city are urged to continue to follow public health measures, including staying home when sick, practising physical distancing and wearing a mask when physical distancing is not possible. Residents who exhibit any COVID-19 symptoms or have been in close contact with someone who has had COVID-19 should get tested as soon as possible. Information on how to get tested is on the City’s COVID-19 Testing webpage.
