Mayor John Tory invites all Toronto residents to Mel Lastman Square for the Annual Mayor’s Skate Party on Sunday, January 13.

This free event gives the public an opportunity to celebrate winter with the Mayor and other members of Council. The fun-filled family event offers an afternoon of hot beverages and a DJ spinning, family-friendly music. Free skate rentals are available, with quantities limited and skates provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
 
Date: Sunday, January 13
Time: 1 to 4 p.m. Official remarks at 1:30 p.m.
Location: Mel Lastman Square, 5100 Yonge St., North York

Note: Members of the media should check in with event staff upon arrival.

Residents attending are encouraged to take public transit to North York Centre subway station.
