Mayor John Tory will be joined by Superintendent Stacy Clarke, Community Partnerships & Engagement Unit, Toronto Police Service and Lena Demarco, Bell’s Regional Director, Community Affairs, to present awards for six innovative community safety projects at the virtual Mayor’s Community Safety Awards ceremony. Three community-led and three youth-led project winners will each receive $1,000 from Bell, a long-time sponsor of the awards. During the ceremony, two projects will also receive honorary mentions in each of the categories.
