Mayor John Tory and City of Toronto staff will join community members and adult cricket teams from across Toronto at a ceremony to celebrate Saturday’s 11th annual tournament for the CIMA Mayor’s Cricket Trophy tournament.

Location: Sunnybrook Park, North Pitch, 1132 Leslie St.
Also in attendance will be Martin Saxon, Chair of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA); Myriam Madden, CIMA Global President, United Kingdom; Keith Adamson, General Manager of CIBC; and Mahes Wickramasinghe, Chief Strategy Officer, Canadian Tire. Representatives of ONESTOP Network, Tom’s Place and Rogers will also attend.
CIMA introduced Toronto’s annual CIMA Mayor’s Cricket Trophy tournament in 2005 in partnership with Toronto’s Parks, Forestry and Recreation division. Since then, the event has helped to raise funds to support youth cricket programs such as Cricket Across the Pond scholarships and the Mayor’s School Cricket Tournament in Toronto.
