News Release
January 31, 2019

Step up to the plate before it is too late to indulge in Winterlicious. Created by the City of Toronto, Winterlicious runs until February 7 and is the perfect time to explore Toronto’s food culture. Information about Winterlicious, including an interactive map to explore restaurants by location, is available at http://www.toronto.ca/winterlicious.

Many participating restaurants still have reservations available. Even those restaurants that sell out early will often list last-minute openings on the Winterlicious “Today’s Reservations” listing. Visit the web page at https://bit.ly/2RgjG1f to see which restaurants have reservations available each day. Reservations are strongly recommended and are to be made directly with the restaurants. Customers who can’t keep their reservation are asked to call and cancel, as the restaurant will be happy to give the reservation to someone else.

About Winterlicious and Summerlicious
The Winterlicious and Summerlicious programs, created by the City, began in 2003 as a way to boost Toronto’s restaurant industry during typically slow periods of business. In the years since the programs’ inception, participating restaurants have served nearly 7.3 million meals, generating more than $322 million in economic activity for the local restaurant industry. Follow Winterlicious on social media on Twitter at https://www.twitter.com/LiciousTO, on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/LiciousTO and on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/LiciousTO. The event hashtag is #LiciousTO.
