The City of Toronto is working with its healthcare partners, pharmacies and Toronto Public Health to administer all available COVID-19 vaccines. To date, 1,792,321 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in Toronto.

The Team Toronto effort is focused on getting as many residents vaccinated as quickly as possible based on available supply. It is also expanding mobile vaccination efforts across Toronto to bring vaccine to the neighbourhoods most in need.

As of yesterday evening, approximately 678,821 people have booked COVID-19 vaccination appointments at a City-run clinic. This is an increase of approximately 20,000 people since the booking eligibility expanded yesterday to include everyone ages 18 years and older.

To help meet the needs of the increased number of people who are now eligible, yesterday the City opened an additional 120,000 vaccinations appointments available through the Province’s online booking system. Eligible residents are encouraged to book an appointment by clicking the blue “Book a Vaccine” button at www.toronto.ca/covid-19 or through phone by calling the Provincial Vaccine Booking Line at 1-833-943-3900. Today, Team Toronto Mobile Sprint Strategy will vaccinate approximately 2,000 people at the following pop-up clinics:

  • Toronto Durgabari (M1M and M1L) – People age 18 years of age and older who live or work in these postal codes
  • Gordon A. Brown Middle School – Students age 12 and older and their immediate family members
  • Mobile truck (M1L, M3C, M1M) – People age 18 years and older

The City and healthcare partners are working to operate a total of approximately 39 clinics today, including mobile teams and on-site clinics, to vaccinate priority groups identified by the Province of Ontario’s priority framework.

 City of Toronto immunization clinics

  • Yesterday, held nine City-operated immunization clinics: Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Toronto Congress Centre, Scarborough Town Centre, Malvern Community Recreation Centre, Mitchell Field Arena, The Hangar, Cloverdale Mall, North Toronto Memorial Community Centre and Carmine Stefano Community Centre.
  • Vaccinated approximately 9,429 eligible residents.
  • Today, will vaccinate approximately 8,320 people age 18 and older. People without appointments should not attend a City-run immunization clinic.

 Unity Health Toronto, Downtown East Toronto OHT and West Toronto OHT

  • Yesterday, held two on-site clinics, two mobile clinics and three pop-up clinics.
  • Vaccinated 2,582 people who are age 18 and older living in hot spot neighbourhoods, priority hospital and community-based healthcare workers, select inpatients, homebound adults, individuals living in congregate settings, members of the Indigenous community, shelter staff, transplant recipients and those receiving active cancer treatment, and individuals with specific high-risk health conditions.
  • Today, will hold two on-site clinics, two mobile clinics and five pop-up clinics.
  • Will vaccinate 3,177 people belonging to the same groups.

University Health Network

  • Yesterday, held three mobile clinics.
  • Vaccinated 215 individuals living in shelters, homebound patients and people age 18 years and older living in hot spot neighbourhoods.
  • Today, will hold two on-site clinics and two mobile clinics.
  • Will vaccinate 2,060 people who are healthcare workers and students, people age 18 years and older living in hot spot neighbourhoods, long-term care staff and essential caregivers, patients with priority health conditions, and Indigenous

Michael Garron Hospital – East Toronto Health Partners

  • Yesterday, held two on-site clinics.
  • Vaccinated 1,251 people who are age 18 years and older living in hot spot neighbourhoods, adults age 40 and older, individuals with highest and high-risk conditions, healthcare workers and medical first responders, individuals living in shelters or experiencing homelessness, people who receive home care, staff and individuals living in congregate settings, Indigenous people 16 years of age and older, faith leaders, education and child care workers, and people who can’t work from home.
  • Today, will hold one on-site clinic and a primary care clinic.
  • Will vaccinate 534 people who are age 18 years and older.

  • Yesterday, held two mobile clinics.
  • Vaccinated 2,600 people who are age 18 years and older.
  • Today, will hold three mobile clinics.
  • Will vaccinate 2,100 people belonging to the same group.

  • Yesterday, held five on-site clinics, two pop-up clinics and a mobile clinic.
  • Vaccinated 5,500 people who are age 18 years and older living in hot spot neighbourhoods, and individuals living in shelters.
  • Today, will hold five on-site clinics.
  • Will vaccinate approximately 4,650 people who are age 18 years and older living in hot spot neighbourhoods, and essential workers.

Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre

  • Yesterday, held one on-site clinic and an off-site community clinic in partnership with Baycrest.
  • Vaccinated 800 people who are age 18 years and older living in hot spot neighbourhoods, Indigenous adults, healthcare workers, hospital staff, people age 12 and older with highest and high-risk conditions and their caregivers, people who live or work in high-risk congregate settings, pregnant women, and people who can’t work from home.
  • Today, will hold one on-site clinic and an off-site clinic in partnership with Baycrest.
  • Will vaccinate approximately 1,000 people belonging to the same groups.

Humber River Hospital and North Western Toronto Ontario Health Team

  • Yesterday, held one pop-up clinic and a mobile clinic.
  • Vaccinated 2,400 people who are age 16 years and older living in hot spot neighbourhoods, and high risk healthcare workers receiving their second dose. Today, will hold one pop-up clinic.
  • Will vaccinate 2,500 people belonging to the same groups.

The City, Toronto Public Health, hospitals and community healthcare centres are all working together to get Torontonians vaccinated as quickly as possible. Getting vaccinated protects individuals, their close contacts and the community. As vaccine supply for the general population becomes widely available from the Government of Canada and the Province, more than 350 clinics, including pharmacies and mobile clinics across Toronto, will vaccinate people following the priority framework established by the Province.
