News Release
June 10, 2021

The City of Toronto is working non-stop with its healthcare partners, pharmacies and Toronto Public Health to administer all available COVID-19 vaccines. To date, 2,480,466 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in Toronto.

As of yesterday evening, approximately 772,876 people have booked COVID-19 vaccination appointments at a City-operated clinic. Vaccinations at City clinics are by appointment only and walk-in clients cannot be accommodated.

Anyone who cannot attend a scheduled appointment is urged to cancel or reschedule. This allows others to book an available appointment and ensures that the City and healthcare partners can vaccinate the maximum number of people every day as quickly as possible.

Everyone age 12 years or older is encouraged to book a first dose appointment as soon as possible by clicking the blue “Book a Vaccine” button at the City’s COVID-19 webpage or through phone by calling the Provincial Vaccine Booking Line at 1-833-943-3900.

Accelerated second dose appointments are also available for people 70 years of age and older, anyone who received a first Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine dose on or before April 18 and anyone who received a first AstraZeneca vaccine dose more than 12 weeks ago.
