Following an election period, the City offers election sign recycling at designated Drop-Off Depots to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill.
These types of election signs, including wooden and metal stakes are accepted for recycling at Drop-Off Depots:
During the designated time period, there is no fee for dropping off separated clean corrugated plastic, paper fibre and plastic film election signs, associated supports and stakes for recycling.
Signs that are not brought to Drop-Off Depots during the designated time period must be disposed of in the garbage.

City of Toronto residents can drop off up to 10 passenger and light truck tires per day on or off rim free of charge at one of the following Drop-Off Depots:
Only passenger and light truck tires will be accepted. All other tire types will not be accepted.

Residents can also drop off one or more mattresses at one of the following Drop-Off Depots:
Mattresses should be unwrapped and unbound.
