This section is for all businesses who qualify for, and subscribe to, the City of Toronto's commercial Yellow Bag program. Businesses who register with the City for Yellow Bag garbage collection are entitled to free recycling and organics collection. Generally commercial establishments of less than 4 floors and less than 500 square meters ground floor space, qualify for the Yellow Bag program. The City of Toronto does not collect garbage or recycling from industrial locations. For more information please contact 311.

City offers twice per week commercial organic collection
Premium organic service collection (twice per week commercial organic) is available to commercial customers who have been approved under the Yellow Bag Program.
Costs
Each 35 gallon organic bin is $62.15 (including taxes).
Premium organic service:
Twice per week collection = $320.00 per year ($80.00 per quarter).
Invoicing
Your business will be invoiced quarterly at a charge of $80.00 for twice per week collection service. Quarterly invoices must be prepaid in order to ensure continued service. Minimum subscription is one quarter (three months). Two weeks' notice is required for cancellation of service.

95-gallon Garbage bins available
Commercial customers who are approved under the Yellow Bag Program and produce large volumes of garbage can order 95-gallon bins. Each garbage bin is $96.05 plus annual collection fees of $806.00 (once a week collection) or $403.00 (for bi-weekly collection). Using a garbage bin means your business no longer has to purchase yellow commercial garbage bags. Order by calling the Yellow Bag Hotline at 416-338-3400.
