* Reporting on appellant consultations
Over course of the summer to the end of September, staff held 135 meetings with representatives of the appellants to Zoning Bylaw 1156-2010. The meetings covered some 600 of the 694 appeals to the bylaw. We thank everyone who participated in these meetings as they were helpful in understanding the issues the new draft of the zoning bylaw should address.

Staff is preparing a report to a Planning and Growth Management Committee meeting early in the new year, which discusses the issues raised in the meetings and recommend changes in direction for a new draft of the zoning bylaw.

* * Repeal of city-wide Zoning Bylaw
Zoning Bylaw No. 1156-2010 was repealed by City Council at its meeting on May 18, 2011. As a result, access to the zoning maps on iView has been removed. A new draft of the zoning bylaw is being prepared. Once completed the draft bylaw will be posted again on the iView maps and available through this website.

The old zoning bylaws are the only bylaws now in effect and they are not available electronically. You need to visit or call the Customer Service Counter in the appropriate District.

For reference purposes, Zoning Bylaw 1156-2010 is still available in PDF format.
