Participate by registering for an instructional program, dropping into an activity, visiting a park or garden, by volunteering or working with us. Spaces in our Parks and Community Recreation centres are available to book for celebrations, events and ongoing activities.
Discover many opportunities to play sports at our outdoor basketball courts, baseball diamonds, sports fields and tennis/pickleball courts. Several lobbies in community recreation centres are open to visit and catch up with a friend over a board game or to enjoy the free public wi-fi.

Registered programs are typically nine to 12 weeks in length. These programs are available for all ages and cover a wide range of interests. Participants must register in advance either online, over the phone or in person at any Community Recreation Centre. Participants attend each class on the scheduled date and time to complete the program.

Drop-in programs are available for participants to attend on the date and at the time listed online. No registration is required. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Programs for Adults (19 years and older) and Older Adults (60 years and older) have a fee. These fees can be paid at the front desk of the Community Recreation Centre before the drop-in program. Some locations are very busy – call ahead for more information about your local community recreation centre’s drop-in process.
Early Years (five years and younger) drop-ins or drop-ins that include “with Caregiver” in the title require a caregiver to attend.

Reserve a Spot ahead of the scheduled drop-in start time to guarantee a Spot for:
New Reserve a Spots are released on Thursday mornings at 8 a.m. for the following Monday to Sunday. Toronto residents may make one reservation per day for each program area and only for members of their household.
Memberships offer cost savings for a wide range of fitness and sport drop-in activities with a variety of opportunities that give members access to our facilities and select programs.
Members may pause their membership due to a facility shutdown or for a personal reason by visiting a Community Recreation Centre or Civic Centre and completing a Membership Pass Adjustment Application.
Drop-in Sport memberships are available to play drop-in basketball, badminton, volleyball or other drop-in sports.
FitnessTO memberships offer access to weight/cardio rooms, lane swims, group fitness classes, and aquatic fitness classes.
Junior Golf Memberships are designed for youth who know how to play the game of golf and can keep up with the pace on the course. Junior Membership provides access to golf courses during specified days and times.
Ski Memberships provide access to Earl Bales Ski and Snowboard Centre’s main hill, south hill, race hill and beginner hill, including access to the chairlift and rope tow.
