Description of Service / Summary:

Property owners may request permission to perform non-emergency maintenance on a City-owned tree located in front of their residence. Approved work, such as pruning, pest control, or removal, must meet City standards and is completed at the property owner’s expense.

Eligible Tree Maintenance Work

Property owners may request to complete non-emergency work on a City-owned street tree, including:

  • Pruning
  • Pest control
  • Tree removal

All approved work is carried out at the property owner’s expense and must follow City requirements.

Required Application Forms

To request permission, complete and submit the following forms:

  • Agreement for Arborists to Perform Arboricultural Services on City-Owned Street Trees*
  • Certificate of Insurance*
  • Owner’s Authorization Form (PDF) – Not required if the applicant is the property owner.

Application Review and Approval

  • The City will review your application to ensure the proposed work meets City standards.
  • Requests may be approved if all requirements are satisfied.
