Private Work on City Trees

A property owner may wish to undertake non-emergency maintenance of a City-owned tree in front of their residence. Work may include pruning, pest control or removal. Any work would be performed under the agreement is at the expense of the property owner.

If you would like to do work on a City-owned tree please complete and submit the following forms: 

1. Agreement for Arborists to Perform Arboricultural Services on City-Owned Street Trees*
2. Certificate of Insurance*
3. Owner’s Authorization Form PDF. This form is not required if the applicant is also the property owner.

The City will review the application and may approve the request if the proposed work complies with the City’s standards.
