Targeted snow removal continues across the city and drivers are reminded not to park where temporary orange “No Parking – Snow Removal” signs are posted in snowbanks as snow removal will take place on these streets within 24 to 48 hours. Vehicles left parked in these locations may be ticketed $100 or towed at the owner’s expense as they can interfere with snow removal operations. Residents can continue to submit a service request for areas that need extra attention to 311.

Warming Centres remain open due to colder temperatures. Street outreach teams continue to conduct wellness checks to encourage anyone living outside to come indoors and are distributing supplies such as blankets, warm clothing and sleeping bags to help people keep warm. Residents who see someone requiring support can call 311 and outreach staff will be dispatched.
