  • Complete the Food Handler Certification Program Equivalency Application Form (PDF).
  • Submit the completed application form along with all the materials necessary to review and accredit the certification program. Include the fee in a cheque or money order payable to, "Treasurer, City of Toronto." The submission of this package does not constitute automatic accreditation for the program. Additional requirements, modifications or changes to the program may be necessary to obtain accreditation.
